Tasi Travels: Minimalism, Practicality, Style.
Our clothes are designed to be appropriate for both conservative cultures and hot climates, offering coverage as well as relief from the heat with light, breathable materials. Whilst also being one of the most sustainable textiles available, our fabric Tencel is incredible for travel. It dries quickly, doesn’t wrinkle and is blissfully breathable.
Tencel – Our primary fabric is a beautiful textile called Tencel, which is part of the Lyocell family and one of the most environmentally friendly fabrics available. Tencel is regenerated from sustainably grown wood cellulose from the eucalyptus tree.
Organic Cotton – Conventional cotton is a nasty crop, around 25% of the worlds insecticide consumption is used for conventional cotton. Highly toxic pesticides are commonly used in growing cotton and the drift from aerial spraying can be very harmful to farm workers, wildlife and nearby communities.
Recycled Polyester – Recycled fibres have up to 75% lower environmental footprints than their virgin synthetic alternatives! We chose to use recycled polyester for our new Atauro Trunks to conserve precious resources, reduce carbon emissions and save water.
Packaging – All of our Tasi orders are shipped plastic free. We package our garments in reusable calico bags and ship in compostable satchels made from corn starch.
Ship to US and most countries.
